Site Info

Like I said before, this site is made to pay tribute to Kevin Garnett of the Minnesota Timberwolves. First and foremost, I'm a fan of Garnett. I do not know Garnett personally, nor have I ever met him -- I've seen him in person, but that doesn't count.

I'm a huge NBA fan, and of basketball in general. I'm a fan of Allen Iverson, Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Chris Webber, Penny Hardaway, Ray Allen, Desmond Mason, Tracy McGrady, Darius Miles, Lamar Odom, Shawn Marion. But my favorite players are Michael Jordan and Kevin Garnett.

How did I become a huge fan of Kevin Garnett? I admit that I did not know too much about him in his rookie season ('95/'96). It was during the '96/'97 season when I noticed this young baller. I guess the first things I noticed were his terrifying wingspan and his wiry 6'11" frame. But unlike most big men, KG ran the floor, handled the ball, passed like a guard, dunked like there was no tomorrow, and all the while screamed and hollered with a youthful exuberance. It looked like fun -- a lot of fun. KG made the game seem like a joy. And basketball is a joy in many ways. Not many people approach it the right way.

So this site is the result of my being a Kevin Garnett fan. It's my tribute to Garnett. And that's all it is -- nothing more, nothing less. I just want to share something with my fellow Garnett fans. And if you're not a fan, you better jump on the bandwagon, because KG is tearin' it up.

I want to make my site unique. There are obviously other Kevin Garnett sites out there, some are really good, and some don't get updated anymore. All the content featured on my site are written by me. I don't appreciate cuttin' and pastin' some biography of KG from nba.com. If you want to see that, you can just head over to nba.com. What you see here are strictly my words, and my perspective. If I want to write a mini KG biography, I'll do so with my own words. That's what makes a site unique. This is my site, and that's how I want things to be.

I hope y'all enjoy this site. And maybe you'll have as much fun reading it as I do making it. Still being a neophyte at this whole webpage thing, I'm learning something new and worthwhile. So keep checkin' out the site, enjoy the new photos and content. And most of all, have fun, a'ight?

Peace,

Send your questions and comments to garnetttributeAThotmail.com (replace the "AT" with you know what). You can also send them to garnetttributeATgmail.com if you wish. I check both accounts.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're sending me an e-mail, put something in the subject line that is KG relevant. I get a lot of junkmail, and I won't open anything that looks fishy, or that looks like spam. For instance, putting simply "hi" in the subject line tends to make me think it's spam. So do your best to make sure that I can identify your e-mail as a real e-mail. I do my best to respond to every e-mail I receive. So if you didn't get a reply, it's either because 1) I didn't get your e-mail, or 2) I didn't open it because it looked like spam.
